In Canada, January is also known as the March of Dimes Month.
The March of Dimes is a 65+ year old tradition of fundraising for Canadians with physical disabilities.
During January, many Canadians put on their warmest clothes and go against the winter cold, canvassing door-to-door to raise funds for the March of Dime's events and programs, working tirelessly to help those in need.
